Vision Is Not Optional.

"...GO OUT into the highways and along the hedges, and COMPEL THEM to come in, so that MY HOUSE MAY BE FILLED." Luke 14:23

If God isn't satisfied with empty seats in His house then we shouldn't be either. Finding new ways to reach people who have been robbed of hope and are far from God isn't optional. Lost, hurting and wounded people are counting on you and me (the church) to find a way to get to them. There is far too much at stake to put personal comfort and convince ahead of someone else's eternal destiny. To do so is nothing short of selfishness. If you don't have a vision for ministry then hit your knees and seek God's face until you get one. No spiritual leader has the right to remain visionless. We don't get to a certain age or stage of ministry where we get to "opt out" when it comes to vision. To borrow the words of Rick Warren, "...it's not about you (or me)." It's about the countless souls in our cities and towns that God has called us to reach with the eternal hope that's only found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Reached people should be reaching people and so vision is not an option. In 2014, let's FILL the HOUSE!
